I was testing the blogger beta for the last few days. Really sorry to post this in worpress blog. Seems it has caught up with wordpress with lables and Page Elements. What more it gives you the ability to use javascirpt and css unlike wordpress for which you have to pay money. Though it doesnt have the concept of static pages like worpress provides whcih is pretty much usable. But for a layman using wordpress is easier than blogger beta. One more thing is that blogger beta doesnt have conditions like not to put commmercial information on the blog.

It routes the request through intermediate servers and does encryption so that your identity is secure. Pretty good software. Its just over 9 Mb. Setup is also simple, just extract and run torpad.exe. But the only problem is that websites load slower because of all the stuffs that goes on behind to make ones identity anonymous. Get it from http://torpark.nfshost.com

This weekend i spent by attending the Agile India conference in Bangalore on 5,6th May. Got to hear key notes from Craig Larman and Steve Messenger. Craig Larman was giving details of how WaterFall methodology came into being and its false assumptions. He also was talking how techniques followed in agile methodologies were as early as Waterfall approach. He cited papers and earlier projects to drive the point.
Apart form the above there were serveral technical related talks right from Domain Language programming in Ruby, Scrum, Sahi, etc. It has been a good experience attending this conference.
