AR Rahmans Shakalaka Baby has inspired the chinese version sung by Kelly Poon. By following various threads in discussion forums, it seems the song is not credited to the origninal composer AR Rahman.
Anyways , the Chinese version sounds cool.
It was sivamani who performed at bangalore Habba on Saturday 9th. The show started after some jazz and rock concerts from other bands. Sivamani brought thiyam durmmers from kerala. And it was a duel after that for next 2 hours that left the audience in Palace grounds mesmerized. He had so much energy, rhythm and precision. At the end of the show he played 3 minutes of tribute to Rahman, which made the audience sway. I wished he played it longer. Check onto his website sivamani.in
On Friday Dec 8, it was Wolfgang Haffner’s troupe playing Jazz at CMH, Bangaloer. The program started at 6.45 sharp and the next 2 hours was amazing music with wonderul drums. You could find his site at http://www.wolfganghaffner.com/
