at last i am able to get rid of this phobia. i never went to dentis to clean my teeth. been to them on few occasions just to remove tooths. those were horrible incidents. the first dentist tries to do a root canaling. this was way back in 2002 i guess. but finally he gives up and says he has to remove the tooth. And then another experience in a dental college. this must be around in 2003 or so. i go this college, and get seated. but removing tooth was like fun for these students. i guess the doctor told the students what to do and then on , it was one of the student trying his hand. i guess he got few marks for that. After that never thought of going to dentist. its like scary experience. Friends tell that if one goes for dental cleaning, gums wud become weak. but after 4 years, i muster the courage to go to a dentist. i try to find a good clinic and finally decide on dental lavelle . the dentist tells that its in bad condition. after few xrays, he tells its not that bad. anyways i got it cleaned and got some instructions. bit of pain , and lot of bleeding, but i am ok with it. but i quite liked the result. i think i should have done this before. why the hell have i been afraid of going to a dentist. no idea. now the instructions i need to follow- an herbal paste, a minibrush, then dentall floss , then mouth wash and then end up with hydrogen peroxide wash. i guess it cooly takes some 20 mins for this. and this i am supposed to do 3 times, or atleast 2 times. i think i will get used to this routine. its just creating a new habit.

I had a nightmare at around 2. woke up and cud not sleep. instead i decided to go out. so had a shower and i start of on a bike at 4.30 . some street dogs chase me as i speed up on my bike. and then its all biking witout knowing where i am going. i take the route towards Hosur. its drizzling heavily and i have no jacket. by the time i reach hosur i am shiveing. i get a tea and stand near the stove to get some heat. then i start again, though i dont have any specific plase or reason to go , i start even though its drizzling. i head towards krishnagiri route. i get down at a bunk having Coffee day. at last i am able to sit inside and get some warmth. have a grean tea and refuel my bike. then head towards kishnagiri. i cud have turned around and come back, but instead i thought i have never been on the higway to chennai. so take a turn to head towards it. its bean 3 hrs driving and now its 7 in morning . its an amazing road-almost straight. i cud not still see my favourite sun . lot of cloud cover. i think about eating in a road side place, but it ends only in thinking. instead i drive all along without eating or tea. i felt a bit hungry. then i reach a town called Vellore. i finally get some cash from ATM for refueling. by this time i had decided to go and reach chennai. its just about 130 kms away. but i had to turn around to get my breakfast, and i see that i have come 230 kms from bangalore. i have masal dosa and tea at a typical south indian hotel. and then i am in 2 minds. to go to chennai or return. i have to do some laundry back at bangalore. i think its better to come back. so i head all over again to bangalore. its bean raining and breezy. i reach back at 12 at hosur. i have a meal and then head towards bangalore to do the laundry. i get some rest in my room, and i start walking all over again.
this is about nadodigal(tamil movie). i could not foget this moview even though i saw it a week back. its kind of werid,mad,pacy and coolest movie. its about 3 friends(Karuna,PAndi and Chandran). each having their own goals in life. one want to go to foreign, antoher want to get govt job so that he cud marry her girfiren and another wants to own a computer institute. But then Karuna’s childhood friend comes and seeks help to marry his love. They go on a journey help the couple marry. in the process they sacrifice a lot. was their sacrifice worth forms the remaining of the movie. I loved the Pandi’s character. there are quite a lot of overindulgence in showing the suffering. and lot of flaws. but all these kind of flaws gave a different feel to the movie.
This is a telugu movie startting Siddhart and Shamili(the gal who acted in Anajali). It starts great. Pretty good songs and nice camerawork. Siddhart is a rich guy and Shamili a middle class gal. Both are just opposite. While Siddhart is more party going kind with drinks, fun, Shamili is more responsible. She is very religious, and believes too much in astrology and stuffs like that. They meet in new year day which happens to be Siddharts bday as well. He falls in love at first sight. Then as usual he chases her. he understands Shamilis live is different from him. To woo her, he doesnt tell he is rich. he goes to live as a PG in her house. Its all about these stuffs in the first half. but it looks gr8 wiht Siddharts charmness . And Shamili is very adorable. Just when Siddhart proposes, he comes to know about a certain truth at Shamili that even she doesnt know. then the movie turns around. it takes to the lines of Bucket list and dasvidaniya. Tragic movie lovers would love this movie. Shamili and Siddhart have done thier roles with such sincerity. btw, it has lot of cliches that one wud find in a normal entertaining movie-no logic and all, but who cares.
This is a telugu movie. This movie is about how the guy Manoj proposes to the gal Harika. The whole movie happens in a airport teminal in a span of 4 odd hours. Its in airport they meet and Drhuv falls in love with her at first sight. Then its all about using his charm to woo her. he is acompanied by his 2 friends, and the lady with one of her friend. There is no story line as such apart from the above. but the treatment is different. its good for a one time watch. though at times the pace may be slow, its ok. Harika looks really good and Manoj shows lots of boyish charm.
This is a hindi movie. I went to see hoping it cud be entertaining or thought provoking. it did neither. Trying a serious movie, and mixing it with love and other bollywood cliches requires some sort of real talent. there is no depth in the love portions as well as the trauma of being a prisoner. btw this movie is about how some suspects have to endure through detention post 9/11 and the trauma and how they cope (or not). Acting by all lead actors is just above average. Even Irfan who does is role so good is somewhat lost sometimes.
